Scanning Ford MAF sensors

What is the rule of thumb while scanning?? Minimum values, relationship to other sensors etc.

I have a 1995 4.0 Explorer with a code 186. MAF has been cleaned. I think I caught the TPS not giving data, but can not duplicate. TIA Login to read more.
