Sorry Alan, like Matt says there is just too much going on at that speed to chance it. All Ford cars have limiters on them. It isn't for the engine it's because of drive shafts and half shafts and stuff like that. My 95 Taurus used to top out right at 164 KPH.... Login to read more.
