Hot and running at very slow idle worked great on Chrysler slant sixes ( pre-hydraulic lifter design). This way you "feel" the MAXIMUM clearance where ever it may be on the back of the cam lobe. On the first valve experiment to get the feel right--feeler gauge... Login to read more. ![]()
