If it's anything like GM logic, it is fed a ~5v from the ECM which is the 'validation' voltage. An open circuit condition will remain @ 5v, a shorted circuit will drop to 0v, and a good sensor will drop to ~2.5v. It is around that ~2.5v bias that the knock sen... Login to read more.
