Never use an egr cooler cleaner, DPF cleaner or any other chemical that will end up in the exhaust stream; you risk destroying your DOC and DPF. Do they clean the carbon out of the cooler or EGR valve? Yes; some better than others and some are purely snake oil... Login to read more.
