Is it a 4X4? We had two Fords this winter with seized front drive axle U joints. It was only on one side and was doing as you describe. Jack front axle up and pivot wheels side to side. Turn wheel 90 degrees and swivel again. See if it is stiff or seized. Got ... Login to read more.
