Hi Derek, Yes a faulty or biased ICP sensor can and will effect the starting of a HEUI style engine. It doesn't matter what flavor it is, Yellow,Blue or Black. I've had one on a powerjoke that was a complete no start of any kind that was a shorted ICP sensor ... Login to read more.
