I had the same thing last month. Would not lose oil pressure until hot and accelerating. Noticed the low oil pressure gauge drop, added 5 or 6 quarts of oil and no longer losing oil pressure. Drop the pan, check the pump gears and a new pick up tube fixed it. Login to read more.
