Per the Ford owner's manual diesel supplement:

10W-30 preferred in temps above 0 degrees Fahrenheit.

5W-40 for severe duty, biodiesel or temps down to -20F.

0W-30 or 0W-40 for temps below -20F.

15W-40 acceptable for temps above +20F and biodiesel.
