My reference of choice; Motor's Truck Repair manual, in the 1951 edition, says EF trucks '46-'49 used Mack's own EN-290 engine. I don't know how much was optional equipment in those days, but certainly the engine could have been replaced at one or several tim... Login to read more. ![]()
