The engine fan needs to kick in. With the older R12 fan switch, it should kick on at around 250 psi. Newer systems that are R134 kick in around 300 psi. R12 switches have SAE threads, R134 have metric threads. The R134 switch can be installed using an adapter.... Login to read more.
