I am Fleet maintenance, one Guy, I don't get into tear downs anymore. It has been said the cylinder walls were scuffed, rings at fault, however, I am leaning towards the fact that 0W40 has been used in these engines all year round. Not a Cummins recommendation... Login to read more.
