We have 3 Pierce Saber Fire Trucks that are powered by Detroit 40 Series Motors. All have Kysor crankshaft mounted fans. So far our 1997 has failed 1 time in 40,000 miles, the 1998 has failed 4 times in 30,000 miles and the 2001 with 4000 miles hasn't failed..... Login to read more.
