As the concensus shows, it is most likely coolant washing the soot out of the exhaust. Typically, a cracked EGR cooler will allow coolant to leak into the exhaust as the truck sits, then it is pushed out the tailpipe during warm-up. However, I have seen the tu... Login to read more.
