Update !!

I was able to get the cat "de sooted" d/t plugged DPF. ( propane weed burner for a few minutes and it was all gone, didn't even get the primary substrate "red" )

I talked him OUT of the pipe and gave him the "math" of fixing this vs buying ANYTHI... Login to read more.
