I have the Cummins Service Manual for the ISB and it lists fault code 234 (engine overspeed) but not 233.

The DLC - is it the 6 pin Deutsch or the 16 pin OBD2? If OBD2 then perhaps these codes are not Cummins codes. Login to read more.
