Yes a good Cetane booster works my daily driver is a 98 24v Cummins I was averaging 17-18 mpg.. I use Amsoil Cetane boost and my MPG goes to 19-20 mpg. This of course is all no towing city and hwy driving. You may want to try several different brands I found ... Login to read more.
