George, words of caution on crimps on highly oxidized copper wire. In the voltage ranges of 240 thru 4160 vac where some of my work is conducted, highly oxidized copper wire splices have been known to "EXPLODE" under load. High current low voltage <120 vac/vdc... Login to read more. ![]()
