I had a guy come into the shop today, and ask about getting a 6 speed Allison rebuilt. Said the tag on it, listed it as a MT40. Said someone told him it was a MT 640. Said his boss had call Stewart and Stevens which is a Allison dealer. And they would not work... Login to read more.
