I have never seen a TSB from Ford saying not to use synthetic oil. I have seen various bulletins saying to use only CF-4 or CG-4 in the 7.3, CI-4 in the 6.0, and CJ-4 in the 6.4 and 6.7. As long as the synthetic meets those API ratings, it's OK to use. Now, ba... Login to read more.
