Random unrelated thoughts:

I have found that most of those early P$Ds have a noticable "miss" @ idle and most Gen 2s fail CCT on #8. I think I saw a post by Charlie Ledger regarding the P0284 with the updated (gray?) CMP sensor. Try an older CMP??
