I'll add that the dash gauge is merely a warning lamp that looks like a gauge. If the engine has "some" base oil pressure the gauge will read in the same spot. The sender is a switch and the gauge has 2 "settings" zero and the normal spot (about 2/3rds). Stupi... Login to read more.
