Not familar with a 4.3, I know when I was at Detroit we did a ton of egr coolers in the 900 series MBE engine. How did you check the EGR cooler? Probably only leaks hot, egr valve hard to remove with cooler installed, did you remove the front pipe to look in? Login to read more.
