Hi Jim, we don't see that vehicle down under. The high pressure pump will be pressurizing the rail regardless as it is gear driven ( is this a Bosch system ? probably a CP3 pump if it is ).

Depending on the wiring,removing that relay may disable the suction... Login to read more.
