Re: Safe way to start a diesel if glow plugs do not work
I have always (and will continue to) used starting fluid.
You need to be careful not to load it up and crank, that may
bend a rod or pushrod, or knock offa starter or ring gear.
If it has glow plugs I like to disable 'em just in case. ![]()
