Thanks everyone for the help. As Ray Hinton mentioned, if you don't have the proper spanner, a hammer and punch works well.

I took the solenoid off, pulled the plunger out, and reinstalled the solenoid loosely to plug the hole. Truck starts and runs, no more... Login to read more.
