The IDM is an output of the PCM (unlike the 6.0 FICM, which is a networked module). For the IDM to actuate the injectors, it needs a fuel delivery command signal (FDCS) and a CID signal from the PCM. The PCM sends out the FDCS when it sees over 100 RPM and a g... Login to read more.
