Never mind continuity, a few strands in a damaged wire will allow continuity but mess with your signal (and your mind!). Is the sensor damaged? Any junk on the end? Is the yoke tight on the trans output shaft, any signs of rust weeping out past the locknut/wa... Login to read more.
