This thread got me thinking, 5 psi at rated speed seems a little low. I have condemed transfer pumps that won't make 8 psi. QSOL states 4 to 8 psi at filter outlet, engine cranking. 8 to 17 at filter inlet, engine running. 5 psi max drop across filter. Kevin Login to read more.
