I would worry the PCM is damaged otherwise. If the lift pump goes out it often takes the VP44 with it .Use a relay if you do replace the PCM, also Airtex makes a replacement pump thats more [...] the old style lift pump. The VP44 pump is very fussy about fuel ... Login to read more.
