Duane, hindsight being 20/20 , the EGR cooler should have been suspect before the heads or head gaskets , it is why you have the sludge in the in/ out runners and pipes , the dirt ingestion is not really dirt but exhaust soot that 'dusts' an EGR diesel small ... Login to read more. ![]()
