Is you Davco sucked dry. I wouldn't check anything at the Davco. I would worry about fuel pressure at the head. It should be about 14.5psi at idle and 44 at 1400 rpm at full load. Have you made sure the check valve in the head isn't stuck open? Check the seals... Login to read more.
