HI Ron I use aluminum foil Folded 2 to 4 times and wrap connection keeping foil more towards the smaller pipe before the band clamp & also put a 3/16"to 1/4"roll in the seam of clamp. sometimes you have to add more to make the difference. Note:DO NOT OVER TORQ... Login to read more.
