Hey Chris,I don't do alot of diesels but I did watch a tech at Ford when I was working [...] used an infared hand held thermometer to check at the exhaust [...] at exhaust port area of particular cylinder to get a reading(misfiring cylinder will be cooler).HTH Login to read more.
