Hi Marcus, the PCM sends a signal to the FSD to request it close the solenoid. From there it is the FSD's job to do it. The FSD has internal circuity to report to the PCM if indeed it happened. Sorry I didn't respond yesterday as I was I little under the weath... Login to read more.
