I had customers that were losing lifter rollers on 1.9 litres due to 10W30 oil used where 5W30 is specified. I think the 4.6's were losing cam bearings in the cold too. IIRC. Both do fine on 5W20, but I'd never use a 15W40 in either engine unless it was an eme... Login to read more.
