Joseph Albert is correct on the J1939 issue.

There are 2 terminating resistors for the J1939 "backbone", usually one in the dash behind the IPC, and another near the last ECM on the "backbone", which is usually the frame-mounted ABS ECU. They look like a "Y"... Login to read more.
