My MF230 has the Perkins AD3.152 diesel engine. The manual dated 4/79 calls for SAE 20 or 20/20W, 32F to 90F and SAE 30 above 90F. The API spec CC/SE referenced in the manual no longers exists so my decision since '88 has been to run 15W-40 Pennzoil Long Life ... Login to read more.
