05 Int'l HEUI o ring or upgrade

Hard start hot. Found o ring broken at HEUI adapter. Bolt down adapter to branch tube is threaded in to pump and I have been told it should be a quick disconnect. Dealer says o ring is available in a $700 upgrade kit.
