Yes, the EGR cooler can cause the engine to hydrolock. Coolant leaks into the right exhaust manifold and can get into the cylinders. Remove the glow plugs to get the coolant out. You have to change the oil afterwards. I've not had to do any head work on 6.0 va... Login to read more.
