Donald, This is a 3 valve 5.4, correct?

They do have problems with injectors flooding so badly that they hydrolock, it's possible he bent a rod just enough for it to run, for a while. Then the rod broke and ventilated a coolant passage somewhere, especially ... Login to read more.
