Had my first bout with a VP-44 today. DTC 1688, no-start, & adequate fuel supply/volume (although the block-mounted transfer pump sounded awful). Trouble tree leads one to the replacement of the injection pump. As some know already, the VP-44 failure is common... Login to read more.
