I have yet to see a modified exhaust set codes. I have seen open air cleaners (supposed "cold air" intakes that are exposed to the hot engine) set EGR flow codes on the 2003/early 04 due to the IAT1 being too high compaired to IAT2, and I have seen later truck... Login to read more.
