Re: 1998 GM 7.4 front crank seal
You can do it in the vehicle without removing the timing cover. GM would like you to replace the whole cover but the seal will come out easily from the timing cover. The new seal slides in pretty easy so you don't need to "drive it" in. One of the easiest ways... Login to read more. ![]()
