Albin, I'm no expert on these but I did fiddle with a P1216 recently and replaced the FSD module to fix it. I recall that the P1216/1217 diagnostic flowchart was similar and has you verify supply, observe the response time, and if out-of-range, you R&R the FSD... Login to read more.
