Re: 03 F250 6.0 engine oil filter meltdown
What probably caused this is the engine oil getting too hot, which is usually a result of the coolant passages in the engine oil cooler being plugged. A plugged oil cooler will also restrict coolant flow to the EGR cooler, which causes that cooler to fail. Was... Login to read more. ![]()
