Re: Auto trans fluid temp sensor location
Manufacturers put them in the sump because if the cooler plugs, and you have no flow, you are not going to see a rise in temperature. Think of it on the same terms of low engine coolant causing an overheat, but the gauge reads low because it's no longer emerse... Login to read more. ![]()
