Hi Damon: I had the same failure two weeks ago. The cold side vanes split apart...the hot side, along with the shaft (and several quarts of lube oil), were inside the exhaust pipe/muffler. I asked for, and recieved, an intercooler. It came with a core charge..... Login to read more.
