Rusty is on the right track, I bet it has a Waterous pump. Waterous chain boxes were very intolerant of neutral free-spinning, anything over like 60 RPM caused collar grinding. It needs slop, but not that much. So, I have one older truck that NEVER wen... Login to read more.
