You could blame it on the glow plug. Diesels are prone to detonate when engine is cold. Low cetane fuel will allow more abnormal combustion. Many other busses didn't have a problem though, right? More fuel/heavy load when cold will allow for more detonation, m... Login to read more. ![]()
